No - i think they'd be better off with C++ or even assembly =D
You shouldn't need to understand programming to get this one =)   For the record - I know that PHP isn't a compiled language, nor would it be a good AI language =D

Are you kidding... all my robots AI's are built on PHP and jQuery. And they are even HTML5 compatible. HA.

Nothing like robots that shun the support of IE7 and below!
